Hi 4/3B, I hope you are all having a super half term.
Here's a quick reminder of some of the things I'm looking for in your English homework.
Adjectives (don't forget them! Remember, we love them in our class.) Here are a few examples of adjectives you could include if you need some inspiration;
horrible unusual thin sweet untidy colossal magnificent terrifying scary gigantic dirty tricky huge smelly impressive sharp thick slippery blue green (in fact any colour is a describing word)
Don't forget to use your best handwriting, CAPITAL LETTERS and FULL STOPS!
Click on this link and have a go at these adjective games to really become an expert in using describing words.

See you next week and have lots of fun over the half term.

Romans
Last term we learned about the Romans. We enjoyed it. The Romans used to fight the cels and gladiators. Sometimes the romans used to win or lose.

Feargal Fly
We leanred about Feargal Fly in English. He was no ordinary fly, he was a detective. He had to solve the mystery of the Koh i Poor diamond. Who had stolen it?
We enjoyed watching Feargal Fly. When we found out who had stolen the koh i poor diamond we were suprised. We thought it was Sly fox who stole the koh i poor diamond but it was Rhonda and Ivor Menditt.
These are some of Feargal Fly's suspects Sly, Ivor Menditt, Rhonda,Chelsea Bunn, A Sirrop and Earl Ownelott.
When we first started watching Feargal Fly we really didin't understand but he next day we were a lot more confident and we learned a bit more than we did the day before.

Our Giacomettis
In art we have been doing some lovely work about Alberto Giacometti. We have been making a Giacometti in class. It was excelent because we all worked together and helped each other. We liked it because it was fun, messy and we got to use glue and newspaper.
How to make a Giacometti
What you need:
4 pipe cleaners
PVA glue
strips of newspaper
mod roc
paint
water
paper pom pom
